Pastor Charles Ray Lovings
Pastor Charles Ray Lovings & multifaceted career reflects his dedication to service, leadership, and faith, making him a respected and influential figure in both his local community and the broader religious community. He attended Forest Brook High School in the North Forest School District, and Greater Emanuel Bible Institute in Houston, Texas where he began cultivating his passion for soul-winning, community service and leadership. In June 2008, Lovings founded the House of Refuge Church of God in Christ holding their first service at the Tidwell Rd. Business Complex. Since then, the church has grown into a vibrant community dedicated to spiritual growth and community outreach. In addition, Lovings has worked for the City of Houston Fire Department Operations Division for over 27 years making a significant impact on the safety and well-being of Houston residents. Pastor Lovings has served on the Board of Directors for the Exalted Art for four years. Pastor Lovings passion for Christian education is expressed in his involvement within the Church of God in Christ International and Jurisdictional Sunday School Departments. He has served for the past 10 years as the Greater Texas Southeast Jurisdictional Sunday School Superintendent and 8 years as International Sunday School Department Regional Superintendent. He has served 6 years as Assistant Superintendent of the Greater Texas Southeast Jurisdiction, Houston Central District. Pastor Lovings’ dedication to evangelism and Christian education has been an inspiration and guide to many on their spiritual journeys.

Pastor Chad Stevenson
Pastor Chad Stevenson is an internationally recognized recording artist, singer, musician and proclaimer of the Gospel of Christ. He has worked with some of the nation’s greatest preachers and singers on recording projects, concerts, crusades, and conferences across the United States and Africa. Pastor Chad is a graduate of Charles Harrison Mason Bible College and Institute with a Bachelor of Theology. He is a Licensed Minister and Ordained Elder within the Church Of God In Christ, Inc. Honoring the legacy of his grandfather, Dr. Allen J. Hines, and father Eld. Charles L. Stevenson, Pastor Chad has exercised his spiritual gifts intensely pursuing the work of ministry. Pastor Chad has recorded four albums and several single projects independently demonstrating music excellence and life-changing lyrics promoting Christian values and commitment. He is the founder of Da Spot, an alternative setting for Christian young adults. CSProfessional Group, providing production needs and hosting the CSPRO Music Academy. He is also the founder of Committed To Ministry, an organization that supports ministry leaders. In 2016, Pastor Chad answered the call to begin his pastoral ministry, founding the Believers Chapel Church. After months of prayer and fasting, Pastor Chad launched his first service, April 2016, in The Sheraton Hotel in Houston, Tx with 19 members, and a few guest. Since that day the church has grown in faith and service with many testimonies of salvation, healing, prophecy, and deliverance. Pastor Chad is committed to preaching and teaching the Word of God with truth, conviction, honesty, transparency, and love to provoke real change in the lives of Believers. Everything that he endeavors to do is “to the praise of God’s glory!”

Evangelist Nina Spiller
Evangelist Nina Spiller has served the evangelism and mission fields since her youth. Her love for the Body of Christ has fueled her passion for supporting local churches and church plants in their soul-winning and community outreach efforts. Evangelist Spiller’s academic accomplishments show her love for knowledge and preparation. She is a graduate of C.H. Mason Bible College and Institute with a Bachelor of Theology , Houston Community College with an Degree in Business Management, and Texas Southern University with a Bachelors of Arts in Human Services and Consumers Science. Evangelist Spiller is a member of Greater Law Memorial Church Of God in Christ where she is Coach/President of the Evangelism Department leading the monthly Revival Fire dual virtual and in-person service. Her services in the Texas South Central Jurisdiction Church OF God In Christ includes but not limited to Evangelism Department Vice President, Jurisdictional Adjutancy, and Personal Assistant to the Supervisor of the Women Department. Her personal ministry is founded on I Timothy 5: 3-10. Her work includes but is not limited to homemade meals for seniors, 1st and 3rd Sunday Service in the local Senior Home, snack bags for special events, and supporting church ministries in events, prayer and street invitational witnessing. Evangelist Spiller is committed to winning souls for Christ and edifying His church.

Majestic Brother TERRY “DeadLiPHIt” POOLE’s
Majestic Brother TERRY “DeadLiPHIt” POOLE’s life is a testament of service. He earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree In Electronic Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute, also attended the C. H. Mason Bible College where he served as the Student Body President. He served as Deacon and President of the Men’s Department in his local church. Bro. Poole is a board member for the MU BETA PHI Royal Court PI Military Fraternity and serves on the Executive Committee for American Legion Post 827 Houston, TX. Bro. Poole joined the United States Army in 1984. Throughout his 23-year Career, U.S. Army Retired Master/First Sergeant Poole’s assignments include: Radio Operator and Team Chief, Alpha Company 501st Signal Battalion, 101st Airborne Division Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Radio Operator and Team Chief, Bravo Company 122nd Signal Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division Camp Casey, Korea; Radio Operator and Team Chief, Bravo Company 142nd Signal Battalion, 2nd Armored Division Fort Hood, Texas; Team Chief, Section Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant and acting First Sergeant, Charlie Company 136th Signal Battalion, 71st Troop Command Houston, Texas; First Sergeant, Bravo Company 136th Signal Battalion, 71st Troop Command San Antonio, Texas; 1st Simulation Exercise Group, 1st Brigade, 75th Division (TS) Houston, Texas. His awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the Texas Meritorious Service Medal, the Texas Faithful Service Award, the NOC Professional Development Ribbon, the Adjutant General Individual Award, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Ribbon, the Army Lapel Button, the Air Assault Badge. Ms. Porschelyn Stoot
Ms. Porschelyn Stoot demonstrates her committed to Christ through a spirit of professional, civic duty, care, and encouragement. Her willingness to make herself available for those in need is respected and appreciated by all those who know her. Ms. Stoot attended Remington College and is certified in Medical Billing and Coding. She celebrates 13 years in hospice care as Admissions Manager for Accentcare Hospice and Pallative. She is a member of The City of Faith Church serving in a variety of support ministries and church activities. Ms. Stoot is active in her community. She is a member of the Glenwood Forest Civic Club as a Street Captain providing support and communication for residents. Ms. Stoot strongly embraces the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

Mrs. Sherita Montgomery
Mrs. Sherita Montgomery is a testimony of the care stated in the Nurses Oath. That is, to do all in her power to maintain and elevate the standard of her profession, hold in confidence all personal matters and family affairs, aid the physician, and devote herself to the welfare of those committed to her care. Mrs. Montgomery graduated from Fortis College in Nursing. Her Nursing career spans over 13 years. Currently she works as a Rehabilitation Nurse and Dialysis Specialty Nurse. Her pursuit of excellence in Health Care was awarded from Ben Taub Hospital in 2010 receiving the Employment of the Quarter Award. Mrs. Montgomery’s love for humanity is connected harmoniously to her Christian walk. She is an ordained missionary and served faithfully with her husband, Bishop David Montgomery(demised) at the Restoration Legacy Church. She played an active role in the ministry. There she served as Head of the Women’s Department, Women’s Classes, Sunday School teacher, and assisted in church projects. Mrs. Montgomery also gave leadership to the Annual LIFT Conference “Ladies In Forward Transition,” and “No Rear View” Conference. Both her career and ministry fulfill her call and passion to help others. She attributes her steadfastness and perseverance to the admonition of Christ to His disciples in Mark 11:22, “Have faith in God.”

Mrs. Bertha Dinkins-Hightower
Mrs. Bertha Dinkins-Hightower is a retired educator esteemed as a Houston legend in education and civic societies. She is the eldest child of Houston, Texas business pioneers, the late Mr. Titus and Mrs. Victoria Barnes of Carl Barnes Funeral Home. Mrs. Dinkins-Hightower is a proud alumnus of the historic Booker T. Washington High School. and Prairie View A & M University (PVAMU) earning her Bachelor of Science and Guidance and Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling. Thousands of students testify of her influence n the youth that changes their lives academically and socially pushing them to success. Mrs. Dinkins-Hightower sponsored the week-long Washington D. C Close-Up Program for high school students at Stephen F. Austin and Jack Yates High Schools and sponsored several student educational trips to Europe. She was the Youth Sponsor for Zeta Phi Beta Archonettes. Nominated by students in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers in 1996, 1998, 2000. She Received the multi-year award in 2000. Mrs. Dinkins-Hightower is a giant in public service and civic associations. Her service is recognized in both previous and current involvements: namely, president of Alpha Kappa chapter of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, secretary and first female and longest serving president of the Booker T. Washington High School Alumni Association, served on the boards of the Independence Heights Neighborhood Council and the Neighborhood Centers, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority currently serving as treasurer of the Houston Area Council of Zeta, Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Phi Delta Kappa International Society, Harris County Black American Democrats, NAACP, Shady Acres Civic Club, YWCA, national and local chapters of the PVAMU Alumni Association national and local chapters, and the Independence Heights Super-Neighborhood Council. She impressed upon those she meet to “Live each day as if it were your last day.” Mrs. Dinkins-Hightower is a member of the Community of Faith holding close to her heart Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”.
